Security Policy
We consider the protection of all personal information we receive from our web site visitors and subscribers as critical to our corporate mission. Please be assured that we have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of any personal information we receive from you. As with any transmission over the Internet, however, there is always some element of risk involved in sending personal information. In order to try to minimise this risk, we encrypt all information that you submit in ordering one of our products or services using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.
Privacy Policy
In accordance with National Privacy Principles:
- Mitronics will not collect personal information unless the information is necessary for one or more of its functions or activities.
- Mitronics will only collect personal information by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way.
- When or before collecting personal information, Mitronics will take all reasonable steps (via this Policy and otherwise) to ensure the individual is aware of the required matters (and, where necessary in the case of sensitive information, has given his/her consent to the collection).
- Whenever it is reasonable and practicable to do so, Mitronics will only collect personal information about an individual from that individual, and otherwise will take reasonable steps to ensure that the individual is made aware of the required matters.
In accordance with National Privacy Principles:
- Mitronics may use and/or disclose personal information for the primary purpose for which it was collected. Such primary purposes may include:
- to administer and improve the performance of Mitronics-owned websites; to deliver goods and services;
- to address and respond to concerns or other correspondence from customers;
- to deliver benefits and services to Mitronics Customers;
- to assess applications for commercial credit and potential guarantors; and
- to administer and enforce commercial credit and guarantee agreements.
- Subject to any contrary legal obligations, Mitronics will only use and/or disclose personal information for secondary purposes where NPP2 permits, which includes:
- where the secondary purpose is related to the primary purpose of collection, and the individual would reasonably expect such other use or disclosure; or where the individual consents.
- Organisations to which Mitronics typically may disclose personal information collected by it are companies within its corporate group, and service providers (such as credit card processors, providers of outsourced services, shipping agents, advertising and marketing agencies, and credit reporting agencies), but only to the extent necessary to enable those other entities to assist Mitronics in fulfilling the primary purposes for which Mitronics collected the information, and any permitted secondary purposes. All such entities are required to keep such information confidential and restrict their use of it to the permitted purposes.
- Mitronics will never sell or rent personal information collected by it to third parties for marketing purposes.

Delivery Policy
Sydney Metro Areas

- Mitronics will deliver to Sydney Metro areas same business day, if orders are placed by 10:30am
- Orders placed after 10:30am will be delivered next business day
- Non stock items
- Mitronics will deliver to Sydney Metro areas on average 2 business days*
Outside Sydney Metropolitan Area
- In stock items and Non stock items
- Mitronics will deliver to areas outside of Sydney Metropolitan Area's on average 2 business days*

Refunds and Returns Policy
- Customer must return the product (s) to Mitronics with the Mitronics number clearly written on a removable label on the outside of the shipping carton(s).
- All products must be returned in complete set with original packaging, while all No Fault products must be returned in a pristine and unopened condition with all seals intact.
- All returned products must be received by Mitronics warehouse within 14 days. Mitronics will not accept the responsibility for any damage or loss incurred on the freight of returned products.
- Customer must obtain valid RA number (s) authorised by Mitronics RA team for all returned product (s). If the RA number can not be identified, or if the Product does not match the RA details provided by the customer, Mitronics may reject the returned product at the Mitronics RA dock and return it to the Customer at the Customer’s expense.
- For all returned products, customer must maintain a copy of the proof of delivery or consignment information to confirm delivery in case of future queries.
- Under Vendor’s instructions, Mitronics will credit, replace or repair for the returns of faulty products, however, replacement or repair (handled by Vendor) returns may result in the delays due to vendor lead time, also depending on Vendor policy and Mitronics stock availability. Any physical damage incurred on the faulty product due to misuse of the product will void the warranty and is the Customer’s responsibility.
- If the faulty product is returned to Mitronics but no fault is found after testing by the Vendor, then the Customer is responsible for any no fault found charges from Vendor.
Processing of Credits and Refunds
Mitronics Corporation will normally issue a credit note within 7 working days of our warehouse receiving the goods returned in accordance with this policy, with the exception of goods that are not obviously faulty and may require testing. The credit note which is issued can then be used as a payment against future purchases or converted to a refund where applicable.
Mitronics Corporation will only issue refunds on request. The actual method of refund will depend upon the payment method used for the original purchase. For your security, all refunds will be made by wither applying a credit against the credit card used for the original purchase, or by cheque/EFT for purchases paid for by direct deposit.
In some circumstances, a replacement or substitute product will be offered instead of a refund. Mitronics Corporation will consult with you and act in accordance with relevant warranties, other contracts and statutes. If Mitronics Corporation chooses to have the product replaced, we will do this at our cost and return the product (or its replacement) to you promptly.
Faulty Products
A 'faulty' product is a Product returned by the customer to Mitronics or vendor that failed to operate in accordance with its functional specifications.
Dead on Arrival Products
A 'DOA' (Dead on Arrival) product is a faulty Product that failed in the early life of usage or out of box. The DOA period for each Product will vary based on vendor policies, and commonly ranges from 7 to 30 days.
Warranty Products
A 'Warranty' product is a faulty product that failed within the warranty period. The warranty period for each Product will vary based on vendor policies.
Returns Procedure
- Not all faulty returns are handled by Mitronics.
- Customer must supply:
- Mitronics Account Number
- Mitronics Invoice Number
- Mitronics Product Code
- Quantity of the product(s) that needs to be returned
- Serial number for each product that needs to be returned
- Fault details for each product that needs to be returned
- End user's Proof of Purchase for each product that needs to be returned
- Vendor's pre-authorisation number if applicable
- Once the Returns Representative has identified the Product for the return, the Customer will be issued with an RA number. This number must be used in all correspondence relating to the product.
- Under vendor's instructions, Mitronics will issue a credit, replacement or repair for the return of faulty products. Replacement or repair returns may result in delays due to vendor processing lead times and Mitronics availability.
- In the event the Customer fails to advise the end user, the Customer will indemnify Mitronics for any expenses incurred in servicing any warranty claim relating to the misuse of the product or hard disk failure
- Any physical damage incurred on the faulty product due to the misuse of the product will void the warranty and is the Customer's responsibility.
- The Customer should provide the correct and exact fault details which Mitronics can advise to the Vendor for testing purpose. Any no fault found charges from the Vendor will be at the Customer's expense.
- For Bonus products, Mitronics will only provide a replacement. If the product is discontinued or obsolete, the warranty will be handled by Mitronics on case by case basis.
- If Mitronics approves an RA for return under warranty, the Customer is responsible for freight to the Mitronics repair centre. Mitronics will be responsible for return freight of the product as soon as it has been exchanged, for replacement or repair returns only.
- All faulty products must be returned as a complete set which includes all the components that were supplied originally, e.g. Cables, CD and Power Adaptors, and also, with the original packaging.
- All products returned for credit must be in a pristine and unopened condition with all seals intact. All inward freight will be the responsibility of the customer. Mitronics will not cover the cost of freight on returned products and will not accept responsibility for any damage or loss suffered by the customer
The following provisions will apply in respect of the return of products by the customer to Mitronics.
No Fault Products
A 'no fault' product ('No Fault Product') is a Product returned by the Customer to Mitronics in circumstances where the return is not due to the fault of Mitronics or any fault with the Product.
Product sold on a "No Returns Basis"
- Mitronics is entitled to supply certain Products on a "No Returns Basis".
- The expression 'No Returns Basis' means that Mitronics will not accept returns on No Fault Products.
- To the extent permitted by law, Mitronics reserves the right to apply the No Returns Basis policy to any promotional or sales product (s) as it deems necessary. Mitronics will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure such products are clearly advertised and promoted as being sold only on a No Returns Basis.
- Examples of products which may be sold on a No Returns basis include but are not limited to:
- Products specially ordered for a customer
- Products advertised as a No Returns Basis item;
- Ex-demonstration products;
- Clearance products;
- Licensed software.
Discontinued Products
Mitronics will, under instruction from its vendors, discontinue some products from time to time. Customers' right to return these discontinued products may be restricted.
